Sowing- and cutting substrates
- These are fine substrates, to be used in small unities (trays etc)….important that each plug has the same humidity.
- A fact is that germination improved in many cases.
Blocking Compost
- After unloading the potting soil, water evaporates and the potting soil needs re-humidification in a very short time to improve the right quality of blocks.
- Because of the excellent water adsorption and –devising, the contact of the seeds/roots with the growing medium is better so that also germination/rooting can be improved.
Potting soil with Baltic milled peat
- Especially if potting soil is exported to warmer climates and if no other additives are mixed, Fiba Zorb is almost a “must” to avoid problems.
- The companies in the Baltic’s are aware of the quality and all the serious potting soil producers in the Baltic States are using a Wetting Agent to guarantee the right quality of the potting soil.
The retail
- Although it is further in the chain, we noticed that the shelf life of plants can be improved if the potting soil keeps on being able to adsorb water.
- In potting soils for the hobby market, Fiba Zorb is used more and more as a Unique Selling Point.
